What Causes Neck Pain After Neck Surgery?

I had surgery a couple of months ago to repair bulging discs and had a small metal piece fitted, the surgery was done through my neck. All seems to have gone well. The surgeon was very happy on my return visit. I now have pains in my neck and in the last couple of days I am also getting a tingling sensation (not painful) in my thighs - only when I look down. Is this normal? It was mentioned it could take up to a year before the discs have fused properly. Thank you.

I think it is too early to judge about this. I would suggest you to wait for some time. Small amount of pain is possible after such a big surgery. I would suggest you to do hot water fomentation , take Brufen and methylcobal tablet for pain relief.
