Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I recently had a very sudden attack of severe chills without fever. I was literally shaking so badly that I could hardly walk. What was strange to me was the sudden -- like instantaneous onset. I was a little nauseous but otherwise felt OK before.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Praveen's Response
Hi dear. Thanks for writing me on HCM. I were to rule out malaria, typhoid by doing labs (peripheral smear, widal, typhi dot) as soon as possible. These have to be ruled out primarily and they might present without fever(atypical presentation).Hope this answers your query.
