yes..I have been taking levothyroxin 88mcg since about 1986 different doses at different times. I also take lisinopril 5mg for mild high blood pressure. For the past 2 months I have been having extreme dizzy spells, sometimes so bad I cant walk. month ago I went to the hospital due to rapid heart beat, higher blood pressure, then my lips felt swollen, only felt didnt visual appear to be.My Dr on switched blood pressure rx amlodipine besylate 2.5mg I felt terrible and put myself back on lisinopril. Any thoughts of what else it could be? My blood pressure right now 117 75 pulse 79

I have gone through your question. there are limited conditions which cause episodic hypertension, the most important is - pheochromocytoma. -pheochromocytoma can be diagnosed by doing 24 hour urine analysis and blood tests -meanwhile monitor your blood pressure regularly -any episode of hypertension and rapid heart rate should be promptly managed -please get back to us if any further questions.
