Hello,
As you have given history of arthroscopic procedure followed by swelling redness and warmness of affected limb, DVT could be a cause of this condition as it is a complication of Arthroscopy procedure. But this can also occur due to infection or bleeding or extravasation of irrigating fluid. Venous thromboembolism is a life threatening complication of DVT. So you should consult your treating Surgeon for further management. They will do D-dimer test and Doppler USG , venography of affected limb. Doctor will also prescribe some medications like, anticoagulants, Thrombolytic, to apply Stockings.
Thank you for consulting HCM.
