What Could Cause Yellow, Brown Mucus In Cough With Spot Of Blood After Tonsil Removal Mean?

I'm a 19year old female and I had my tonsils taken out 4 days ago. I was sick twice yesterday, but getting more mucus/ phlegm being coughed up too- the colour is either clear/yellow/brown and occasionally you can see a spot of blood. Can you tell me what this is?

hello, thanks for ur query,it could be reactive secretions after endo tracheal intubation. it is common after general Anaesthesia. take oral antibiotics, hydrate urself by taking more fluids, not to take spicy and hot stuffs.all the bes. take care.
