What Could Chest Pain, White Lips And Difficulty Breathing In A Child Suggest?
Hi Doctor,
my 5 year old son complains about chest pain and his lips become white he also says that he has difficulty breathing. I took him several times to his pediatrician who checked him out and said that his heart was fine.
He still has the same symptoms and I am so worried and do not know if I should take him to a specialist.
Could you please let me know what I should do.

i think you should get done CBC (blood test ) of child to know that he is having sufficient amount of blood in body. if any history trauma to chest chest x ray should be done to look for any hemothorax (blood in lung cavity) is there or not.
