What Could Constant, Sharp, Needle Pricking Like Headache Suggest?
Hello, I have been having this headache since 3 years and the first time it occurred was while I was on the computer. I remember having sharp headache on the left side of my head and it was repeated. Since then I have this headache at a small area on the left side of my head and at the center of the pain it is like a small needle stuck there. Sometimes I even feel like there a tiny little bit of liquid there like small drips. I had an Encephalography test, because my neurologist told me, but the results were good. I have tried taking pills for headache but they don't have any effect on that. Can you tell me how can I manage this headache?

You have sharp headache since 3 year with attack comes periodically...
Here no other specific diagnostic features like photophobia or autonomic disturbance symptom present....
So it could be simple tension headache by muscle spasm by more working on computer or it could be neurological causes.....
For tension headache simple analgesic given along with behavioural approach like yoga and relaxation exercise....
For rule out neurological cause CT scan or MRI can done .Both have good diagnostic capability.
Also rule out hypertension .....
