What Could Cyst On Cheekbone With Bruises Suggest?
my 18 year old daughter developed something that feels like a small cyst on her cheekbone. it is under the skin...you can see and it and feel it. it moves alittle when you press on it. the skin looks bruised but she says she has not done anything to cause the bruising.. any ideas?
Understanding your concern. As per your query your daughter has developed cyst on cheekbone with bruises which is due to formation of abscess and formation of pus in infected tooth area. It could be hematoma secondary to any injury. I would suggest you to visit oral physician once and get it examined. You should go for intraoral X-ray and orthopantomograph done as well. Till that time take anti-inflammatory medication Enzoflam along with analgesic medication. Start treatment after proper diagnosis an rule out any hidden pathology such as hairline fracture. If it is concerned to particular tooth start with root canal treatment of that tooth.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
