What Could Dark, Burning Blister Oozing Clear Liquid Indicate?
I woke up with a small clear blister and throughout the day would squeeze lightly to let some fluid out. After i put triple antibiotic and a band aid on it for about an hour, it grew larger and darker. Now its dark gray and it burns. What is happening and what should i do?

You are suffering from dark, burning blister oozing clear liquid. Blisters are commonly caused by friction(friction blister) when there's rubbing on the skin during use of shovels and other tools, ill fitting shoes, etc. It causes clear fluid build up in the upper layers of skin that may cause discomfort or itching. Do not touch or scratch. After washing the area gently with antibacterial soap, apply bacitracin or Neosporin / Soframycin ointment/cream on the affected area.
You are suggested to cover the blister with a bandage to protect deeper layers of skin from infection. Do not squeeze, peel or pop the blister. Keep it clean and change the bandage at least once. Most blisters heal naturally in a few days. You have not mentioned how you got the blister. In case, the blisters is from burns or frostbite, or if it is getting infected, consult your healthcare provider urgently.
