What Could Feeling Of Air Bubble Travelling Through Body Indicate?
Hello. I am experiencing what feels like an air bubble travelling through my body, it doesn t always cause pain but I can feel it more intesnly as it goes through different parts of my body.. I am very scared of what will happen and I am paranoid now of getting an air embolism or something. I felt the air bubble enter the bottom of my mouth somehow when I was breathing in very hard (lung trauma). I thought that I could possibly sleep it off but I am still feeling similar symptoms this morning. Is this possible? Or dangerous? I am 18 and physically fit.
As per my clinical experience, a physically fit personnel with feeling of air bubble travelling through body indicate personality disorder with fixed idiosyncratic believes of certain events which have not taken place. This does not reveal an organic cause and majority of the cases end up for the consultation of expert Psychiatrist or Psychologist over a period of time for curative approach.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
