What Could Have Caused Nose Bleeding: Ingesting Tylenol 4s Or With Dry Mucus And Snot?
Hi Ive been taking Tylenol 4s recreationally for 4 days now which is about 120mg codeine and 600mg Acetaminophen. I have very little to no drug use or abuse in my past, I had a bottle lying around and decided to experiment. Anywho, I got a nosebleed about an hour after ingesting 2 of these pills on the 4th day, I dont feel stomach aches or any other sign of an overdose and Ive had extremely dry mucus and snot so Im not sure which one the culprit would be for the nose bleed. Any ideas? I am a little nervous however I believe it was because I cut the inside of my nose.
I never get no bleeds so this is a red flag for me
Hi and thank you so much for trusting us with your health query.
I am so sorry to hear about this nose bleed. Please, I will strongly discourage you from experimenting with drugs again. Remember every drug is a poison and should only be taken when the benefits clearly outweigh the potential damage it can cause.
If you sustained a cut to your nose, then that should be the cause. Often avoid inserting your hands into the nostrils to avoid similar bleedings in future.
I hope you find this helpful. Thank you so much for using our services and please feel free to for more information or clarifications if need be. I wish you the best of health. Dr. Ditah, MD.
