What Could It Be If Feeling Like Something Stuck In Throat After Drinking Alcohol?
I went out drinking last night. Came back and puked a little. When I was done I thought there's something stuck in my throat. I tried puking but feels like it's not coming out. Tried gargling didn't help. I slept on it thinking it will go away this morning but it didn't. Could you help me?
As per your query you have a feeling of something stuck in throat . Well the probable reason for something stuck in throat is irritation caused to mucosa of throat by acidic content during puking . Mucosa get swelled when get irritated and gives feeling of something stuck in throat . I would suggest you to continue warm saline gargles and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain and discomfort . If condition doesn't get well in 2-3 days then consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor will examine physically to rule out cause like esophageal lump , esophagitis , diverticula or some foreign particle . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics course , anti inflammatoy or sucralfate to heal the wound in throat .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
