What Could It Be If Had A Lump Between The Chest And Belly Button Which Hurts When Pressed?

I have a lump that I can feel if I press down between the chest and the belly button. I feel it more when lying down. One side feels veey rounded the other feels as if it is attached to something. It is painful if I press on it and at other times the area is uncomfortable feels tight and occassionally can be painful. I have no idea what this could be but am very worried. My bowels have been opening more recently I have had a few dizzy spells and flushes but these could be unrelated as I thought Iay be menopausal. I am over weight but reasonable healthy. Do you have any thoughts as to what it may b

It is normal to have lumps that hurt when you press on them. It happens a lot. Typically, they are ingrown hairs. However, it is important to see the color of the skin and shape of the lump. If it is even colored and even shaped then it can be a cyst, ingrown hair, or even an insect bite of some sort. All these issues are nothing to worry about. It also could be a lipoma which is just a fatty deposits that are typical with age. They can grow a bit larger but oppose no danger and thus, you shouldn't worry too much about it. Try not to touch it, the more you mess with it the more it will bother you and hurt you. Keep an eye on it, and it if becomes very painful and becomes very red then it could be an infection. In that case, you should consult a surgeon (but most likely its not).
