What Could It Be If There Is Sharp Pain On The Inner Side Of The Knee And There Is Soft Jelly Like Feeling When Touched?
Hello, I have a sharp pain on the inner side of my left knee, I have no injuries and it hurts when I bend the knee all the way to the front or all the way to the back, or when while standing my knee goes slightly backwards (this las one is excriciating pain). It also hurts a los when I exit the car putting all my weight and using my left knee. I also notice that the inner side of the left knee is slightly (almost nothing) inflamated as when I apply little pressure to the side it is very soft and jelly like unlike my right knee which is bone likefeeling. What could it be ?
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. It appears to be the injury, or damage to the medial miniscus of the left knee joint. The other causes may be the osteo arthritis, orrheumatoid arthritis. I advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have an M.R.I. of the knee joint, R.A.factor,E.S.R, C.reactive protein for diagnosis. Avoid taking potato, other tubers, tomato, egg, chicken, and sea foods to minimise the pain. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. thank you.
