What Could Possible Ischemic Vs Demyelinating Changes In Brain Indicate?

Yes, my husband was in a car accident 3 weeks ago. He suffered a concussion. he had a MRI done yesterday as he is still feeling dizzy and tired. These were the results sent to us. We already have an appointment with a Neurologist on Friday. We just wanted to know a little more about what they found. This is what our doctor sent to us. Abnormal MRI of brain result but no acute infarct noted but chronic changes noted. Possible ischemic vs demyelinating changes Thanks...

Hello,

Regarding your concern, I would explain that these MRI findings could be indicative of chronic high blood pressure or migraine. Chronic changes may indicate small repeated strokes. What is your husband's past medical history? Does he suffer from arterial hypertension, diabetes or migraine? What is his age? Demyelinating disorder means Multiple sclerosis, but this is a disorder affecting usually young persons.
