What Could Profuse Sweating Followed By Urination And Passing Out Indicate?

Hi was just checking my dad sometimes gets sweats, all over his body and seems like he passes urine which he does not realize at times and once he passed out and we had to rush him to hospital and they check him out and nothing was wrong .. what could be the issue

From the query, your father is suffering from Secondary Hyperhidrosis which is characterized by excessive sweating followed by micturition. Hyperhidrosis is a medical condition in which there is excessive sweating. It is classified as primary due to eccrine glands or secondary due to underlying pathology or due to medications. Based on the complaints, urinary tract obstruction may stimulate the sympathetic system which causes profuse sweating.

Repeated urinary tract infection results in stricture and obstruction causes bulging of the urinary bladder stimulates the sympathetic system. I suggest urine routine test to rule out urinary infection. Antibiotics will improve the condition, in case of UTI. Visit a nephrologist with the reports. Further investigations such as ultrasound abdomen and pelvis and urethroscopy are needed to diagnose the pathology.
