I had it looked at by two doctors that I was employed with and they stated it was in the herpes family, but it was the sexually transmitted kind. I recently had a break out is there a cure
Since you have developed a herpes skin infection, I would like to tell you that treatment of this skin condition is in the form of oral antiviral drugs. The most commonly used antiviral agent is acyclovir which has to be started as soon as possible once the infection appears. Along with it, local care of the infected area is also very important. Local cleaning of the area along with application of a topical antibiotic cream can be done so as to prevent any superinfection .
Hope it helps
