What Could Raw And Painful Frenulum Of Tongue With Red Blotch In Middle Indicate?
The frenulum of my tounge is really saw and hurts, it looks a little bit saw with a kind of red Bloch in the middle but it is hurting all the way from there to my gums.. I don't recal hurting it or stranjng it at all.. I'm just worried it might be cancer or somthing
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain first of all do not worry abut cancer as it is not cancer but it seems to be inflamed and can be due to trauma caused by some hard foods or burning with hot foods or fluids or any chemical agents like concentrated mouthwash etc.. You need not to worry as it can be resolved soon.. You can gargle with a numbing mouthwash, suck ice pops and rinse with cold water. You can also take Ibuprofen fro relief from soreness and pain.. Avoid hot, spicy and hard foods and maintain a good oral hygiene..
Hope this information helps.. Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
