What Could Recurring Episodes Of Sore Throat Indicate?

I have a problem of sore throat coming and going every now and then. It happens when I exert even a little, physically. Lot of times it feels as if I am going to have fever , but I dont. It it some sort of a immunity problem? The problem is around the tonsils. It feels as if some foreign object is there in the throat, but there is nothing. What could be it ?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Recurrent attacks of sore throat may be due to some infection, may be tonsillitis,or some allergic condition.Infection may be bacterial or viral, you can have a course of antibiotic for 3-5 days and you may get evaluated by ENT surgeon for conclusive diagnosis and management.
