What Could Recurring Sharp Pain On Right Side Of Abdomen Indicate?
I have for the second time today a sharp pain on the right side the first time I had the pain I throw up I drunk ginger ale put I put pain cream and the eat pad after 1 HR I felt better now the pain came back not strong as the first one, I eat light soup and I had some potato chips

Hi there! Pain on right side of abdomen can be due to many reasons. The exact site of pain is important. If it's on right side just below costal margin (rib cage) it can be due to acute cholecystitis( inflammation of gallbladder). If it's lower than the above mentioned site and it goes towards your back and down towards your thigh it might be a renal colic. If it's more down there in your right iliac fossa it's due to appendicitis. And adding to all these points pain in abdomen can be simply a spasmodic pain due to gastroenteritis or it can also be due to a simple gastritis. It all depends upon site,onset,character and reffereal of pain. Try to eloborate your history more I hope you can make out the reason of your pain after this small explanation.
