What Could The Problem Be If I Am Menstruating And Have Swollen Uterus ?
My uterus is swollen and I am menstruating. I can barely put in a tampon. Could it be a PID flare up - which I haven t had in over 20 years. I am 41 years old now,
Hi,welcome,
The uterus is 'swollen' always during menstruation. If you can put in a tampon then im assuming that your vaginal muscles are swollen probably due to infection.I would sat that its a possible local infection and maybe not PID until you have been examined.PID is a clinical diagnosis and other factors are involved.I would suggest that you see you gynaecologist and get examined.
