General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The tickling on upper left chest when lying down and breathing deeply or lying on left side of chest indicate anxiety induced manifestation of some sort of muscle sore or ache most likely. In my clinic, after thorough physical exam, I do recommend:
- Deep breathing exercises
- Walking in fresh air
- YOGA and meditations
- Sound regular uninterrupted sleep of 7-8 hours
- Avoidance of strenuous activity as weight lifting (if involved)
- EKG evaluation as per the need and case demand

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
