Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a lower back muscle spasm that has lasted six days now. I m 63 years old, obese, and have degenerative disk disease with spinal stenosis at L2-L3. The muscle pain extends all the way around to the lower right abdomen. I have noticed today several small lumps appearing just to the right of the L2-L3. They are not painful, but worrisome. I have a standing appointment with my GP in five days. I can only take Tylenol, as I m on Warfarin as well. Should I be overly concerned with the lumps? I live with pain most days, but this is excessive. I am only comfortable in a sitting position supported by my elbows.

Hi, happy to help you on your health concern!
In the present case of multiple midline back lump, if I were your consulting physician, I would just say you, 'nothing to worry!'
As per your description, it is benign harmless lesion like lipoma or neurofibroma or sebaceous cyst.

What Could Tiny Lumps Near L2-L3 Region Be?
Hi, happy to help you on your health concern! In the present case of multiple midline back lump, if I were your consulting physician, I would just say you, nothing to worry! As per your description, it is benign harmless lesion like lipoma or neurofibroma or sebaceous cyst. However, in worse case it could be some abscess like tuberculosis or lymph nodes. Take caution not to get injured there as this might invite infection. If you are still worried go for an FNAC test for confirmation. Hope you got your answer. Please feel free to write to us if any more queries. Wishing you the best health!
