What Current Literature Is Available In Regards To The Abrupt Cessation Of The Exelon Patch And Namenda?
What current literature is available in regards to the abrupt cessation of the Exelon patch and Namenda? After repeated requests to increase to the 13.4mg Exelon patch were denied, I m being told that its really not helping and its really only for patients with mild-moderate S&S of alzheimers. Two years ago, we had an unfortunate experiance with an abrupt cessation of Aricept, which the patien became totally immobile, and never fully recovered back to baseline, after restarting 4 days later. She has been sensitive to delays in the Namenda dosing, and would become easily confused when it was given late. Now, care providers want to discontinue completely.
