What Do Aching Pain In The Rib Cage Indicate?

Hi, I have been having a small aching pain in my lower right rib cage for around a month. Over the last couple of days I have notices that I have a small indent exactly where the pain is located, but have had not injured my ribcage as far as I know. Just over a year ago I was diagnosed with multiple stress fractures in the lower right back, due to playing cricket, and have now made a full recovery. Thanks, Matt

Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
Pain in rib may not be related to your stress fractures. It may just be a mechanical pain due to stress or strain on muscles of the vertebral column.I will suggest you take a pain drug like tylenol and a myorelaxant like miorel and observe. If pain persist, you see the Doctor for examination.
Hope this will help
Wish you good health
