What Do Blisters Around The Mouth And Armpits Indicate?

hi, I am so worried of my dad. He had a lot of mouth cold sore more likely a blister around his mouth, his armpits like a lot..., in his back, tummy and almost all of his body. It s hard for him to even move and eat. It just started after his appendectomy. We don t know what to do except one neighbor came to visit my dad and heard about the situation. She brought some weird leaf from a tree and wipe it all over dads blisters and somehow ease the itch dad says and the next day it dried up. Still uncomfortable but not as bad as before. I watch everything happened through skype as I am here in US-- what buffled me is how did he got all of those blisters so suddenly. Is there any over the counter medicine that I can buy for him-- I am not so convinced with the leaf application though somehow it works its magic but If there is another way to help him ease the pain please let me know. I do my research and it doesn t tell me much except I know its herpes simplex 1 and its viral...but as to what shall I do or what medicine would we buy not so much info about it. please help. rosegyn
