What Do Blurred Vision, Low Energy And Numb Arm In An Elderly Lady Suggest?

female friend 88 yr, low energy, blurred vision, saw double, able to read, recovery time 2-3 min., sometimes lower lip numb, left arm, left side and working on lowering blood pressure. Weights 104, and 5 2 tall. could this be low in iron? Or??? thank you Andi & Connie

1. the above said symptoms in in your age requires detailed symptom wise approach and examination along with baseline investigations.

. Ask for Hb%, X-ray Cervical spine [commonest cause],blood sugar curve, ENT and ophthalmic check up.
. If associated with any neurological sign, consult a Neurologist.
. since you are on blood pressure lowering medicine, it may be due to excess dose or postural hypotension. [have a Cardiologist opinion]
