What Do Cramping, Clots And Bleeding Indicate?

Hi. I had a miscarriage two days ago at 5 weeks and 5 days gestation. After a few hours of cramping and passing some sizeable clots the bleeding became almost none existent. Today I checked my cervix digitally, as of course I can t see it, and it feels like something is protruding out of the opening. Is this normal? Could it be a complication?

Hi,
Thanks for query. I can understand your query
There is possibility of incomplete abortion.
The products of conception when are trapped in the cervix, can stop bleeding during process of abortion.
If you are suspecting some thing is protruding out of cervix... you should get yourself checked by gynecologist internally...to confirm the findings....in case it's incomplete abortion, it needs to be taken out with medicines or surgically...
Thanks.
