What Do Discharge From The Gums After Wisdom Tooth Extraction Indicate?

Hi, my name is Esther. Few months ago I extracted my wisdom tooth and then I started noticing a discharge from my gum. Initially, I thought it was the after effects of the extraction but this is six months now and the smelly discharge is still there. It's so bad that I can't go out to meet people.

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

As per your complain foul smelling discharge from the gum after wisdom tooth extraction is due to infection at the extraction site and as no treatment is taken to reduce infection, it is keeping on progressing and worsening..

Consult a Dentist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigation like x ray can help..
You can be advised a course of antibiotics along with antiseptic mouthwash gargles and also warm saline gargles..
Keep the area clean..

Hope this helps..

Regards..
