What Do Heavy Vaginal Bleeding And Abdominal Cramps After Intercourse Indicate?
I have been on birth control pill for 11 months now and at the start of this month started taking it normal but about 4 days in a messed up and forgot to take a pill for a couple of days.. I had unprotected sex and about 5 days later began to bleed. It started light but began to get heavy like a period and then light again like spotting but dark discharge, this has been going on for eleven days now and today I went to the bathroom to find my underwear soaked in blood and cramps that were unbearable with sharp pains running from each side, what is hapoeneing?
Good Day. You may be experiencing irritation from vaginal sex, combined with altered hormonal cycle due to the adjusted medical day schedule as well as a superimposed UTI. Sometimes, many different factors combine to cause what can be perceived as excessive vaginal bleeding. I will admit 11 days is a long time; and I think it's best you visit your OBGYN so you can obtain antibiotics and or any other forms of treatment or relief he/she believes pertinent. Keep yourself hydrated, and I encourage a healthy vegetable based diet to encourage adequate blood-flow. I hope you experience a positive outcome in the days ahead.
