General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
I understand your concern
Bleeding between period called metrorrhagia.
It could be due to excessive stress, cervicitis, cervix and endometrial dyspalsia, endometritis, vaginitis, endometrial/vaginal polyp, PCOS, hormonal imbalance.
If it will occur again in future then
Consult the gynecologist and undergo following investigations:
reproductive hormone analysis, USG scan, endometrial biopsy, ovarian follicle study, PAP smear, colposcopy.
Take ibuprufen for pain and take healthy diet, drink plenty of water.
Do regular exercise and avoid stress.
Specific Treatment will depend on the cause.
Hope this may help you
