What Do Itchy And Painful Sores Around The Anus Indicate?

Hi I have some itchy and painful sores around my anus. They discharge some clear fluid which doesn t seem to be pus. Symptoms occurred about a week ago. A week before that I had sex with a new partner which involved a finger in my anus. I felt fine immediately after.

Hello
Thanks for writing to us.

The reason of the cause of anal itching requires physical examination of the anus. It may be due to the common anal problems such as hemorrhoids or fissures or skin diseases such as psoriasis or even in some cases cancer, infectious diseases such as pinworms or yeast, and leakage of stool.

Treatment of anal itching depends on the cause. Getting checked with your health care practitioner is a great idea.

Regards
