What Do Itchy Rashes Around The Right Ankle Indicate?

Hi, I have an itchy outbreak on my right ankle which my doctor has called lichen planus I have had oral lichen planus for many years. He prescribed mometasone Furoate to relieve the itching. Can I expect this stuff to eventually go away? Dick DeVisser YYYY@YYYY

Hi.!
If you had lichen planus before there are chances that you'll have it again. It is purplish flat topped lesion. Yes, corticosteroids are the mainstay of treatment and it will eventually go away. Keep the area hygienic.
