Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
If you had a mammogram with results that indicate you have a right breast disorder and the radiologist called you back for an ultrasound which was interpreted superficial and suspicious and were scheduled to repeat testing in 3 months would you seek a second opinion?
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. Your mammogram report suspects there could be a possibility of disorder affecting your right breast. Ultrasound report also does not signify anything conclusively but it says there is a superficial lesion of suspicious nature. That is the reason why it has been asked to be tested again after 3 months, so that some conclusion could be drawn. Kindly get it tested again after 3 months. Hope the information provided is clear. All the best.
