What Do My Lab Test Reports Indicate?

My cardiologists ran several EKG s, did blood work, did an ultrasound with contrast, stress test with contrast as well as chest X-rays and he says all looked good. They finally decided (2 months later) it was my gallbladder and I have a sliding HH. I have had gallbladder surgery 8 weeks ago but am still experiencing some issues. I can deal with these issues as long as I know my heart is good. He says these tests are 95% accurate but I still worry. What is your opinion?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Hiatus hernia (HH) and gall bladder inflammation can lead to gastritis, reflux, bloating, regurgitation, chest pain and related problems.
Heart burn and chest pain due to hiatus hernia and gall bladder inflammation can mimick a cardiac problem.
However, normal cardiac investigations like ECG, stress test rule out any cardiac disease.
As you have mentioned that you have had gall bladder surgery so symptoms of bloating etc should resolve.
However, the symptoms due to hiatus hernia will disappear when the hiatus hernia is treated.
Treatment for hiatus hernia is surgical.
I suggest you to consult your gastroenterologist for treatment of hiatus hernia also.

Thanks and take care
