What Do My Mammogram Test Result Indicate?
Hi..my mum went for another mammogram today after receiving a letter to call her back after a recent one. She was told amd could see herself a dark circle. .smaller but like a grape. A needle was put it and she was told it wasn t liquid. A consultant was asked and she was told they would see her again in two years as it was probably nothing to worry about. Regardless of them saying this I am concerned as they didn t say what it could be. Two years seems a long time to wait with something. What could it be?

Here your mother having small grape like nodule according to history....
So as mammogram also done and showing no mass , chance of malignancy less...
From visible swelling FNAC examination can be done to rule out nature of swelling...
It might be simple fibroadenona like nodule in which clinical follow up needed.
If needed in future swelling might be excised....
