What Do Pain And Stiffness In The Knees Indicate?

I have joint pain in my knees (both). It gets worst as I walk to the point where my knees are frozen stiff. I do not have redness or have not noticed any swelling. this problem has gotten worse of the years. Is this just arthritis that I have to live with.

hello there .
thank you for choosing HCM.
First of all may I know your age as this will help me to understand the exact problem you are going through.
Arthritis is mainly a disease of elderly and knee joint is most commonly involved. In this the cartilage dissolve over the years and bones come in contact with each other leading to inflammation and pain.
you can do X ray both knee for the disease's exact status and even your doctor can prescribe MRI or CT if details are needed.
I hope this was helpful.
thank you
