What Do Pain And Stiffness In The Right Foot Indicate?

Heal pain on right foot began a couple days ago....not like plantar fasciitis sp.? I had years ago...in past two days has gone up to just above ankle and when I press on skin on inside of leg it hurts/burns...very slight redness this afternoon...slight swelling, but very slight...no open wounds...can t see a possible spider bite..makes me just want to stay off leg totally..ankle a bit stiff when I flex it or walk on stairs...

And after reviewing your case history, I'm of the following opinion:

1. As a couple of days has gone by and still symptoms are there it could be a possibility which requires urgent emergency consultation with a vascular surgeon for further medical or surgical management:
i. Deep Vein Thrombosis [DVT] i.e. post-thrombotic or postphlebitic syndrome
ii. till then one can go for compression stockings, pain management with acetaminophen
