What Do Random Swelling In Different Parts Of Body Indicate?

My husband is having random swelling in various parts of his body, with itching and bruising. Large red blotches are starting to appear and spread in a couple of places. They feel hot to the touch and do not reduce with ice or cortizone cream. Taking Benadryl has not helped either.

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Your husband is having multiple skin lesions which are not improving with steroids and antihistamine.
So better to consult dermatologist and get done clinical examination of skin lesions, serum ANA level, tumour markers (Serum CEA level, LDH) etc.
Connective tissue diseases and underlying malignancy can also cause similar kind of skin lesions.
So get done all these tests today diagnose the cause.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wishing good health to your husband. Thanks.
