What Do Red Spots On The Body Indicate?

About 1 hour Ago I discovered a rash which could very well be shingles. I have one that nearly covers both my underarms, from my neck down to my waist I have red dots all over, also about a 2 wide red band around my waist( so far just the front), my scalp is starting to itch also, and dots along my right arm. What do you suggest?

Neurologist 's  Response
Hello,

Shingles usually affects a particular nerve, so skin lesions are usually limited to the territory covered by that nerve, the distribution in your case makes shingles unlikely. Also, there is usually intense pain, so if no pain even less likely.

So I think other causes such as allergic or infectious ones must be considered, but it is hard to make a diagnosis without examining the lesions, you should visit your primary physician.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
