What Do Serum Cholesterol 233mg/dl And Plasma Glucose 97mg/dl Mean?

I am Indian, 31, male, married, non vegetarian, 85 kg, 6 2 , Smoker (2 sticks per day since last 10 years), 9-5 office job. Today I check my cholesterol due to heavy tiredness, sweating of underfoot and highly foaming of urines, for these days and the report says Serum Cholesterol 233 mg/dl and Plasma Glucose (F) 97 mg/dl. What this means? Is that the reason for my tiredness? Is this result to be feared about? Do I want to change my deit? Please help me. Thank you in advance. Safar Iqbal M

Hi,

Quit smoking. Take a healthy diet, leafy green vegetables, fresh fruits etc. Do regular exercise and walking. Drink plenty of water. Consult a good clinical dietitian and nutritionist for good diet plan. Check Your blood glucose level two hours after meals. Get thyroid profile, vitamin D, and serum iron tests done to diagnose your condition. After investigations, we can make a good plan to treat your problem.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
