just a query to this question In a autopsy it was found to have small saccular aneurysms that was present in many of the peripheral arteries and there was inflammation to only the areas of the leags and arms, with a bhuild up of atherosclerotic material within the aneurysms.
Due to atherosclerosis arteries become thickened and weak at places causing secular dilatations -aneurysm.This may happen in old age, diabetes mellitus, venereal disease etc..
