What Do Spots On The Lungs Indicate?
my dr said he noticed some spots on my lungs and he wants to do a petscan in april. I am 1 year out of chemo for colon cancer & the other ct scans for stomach & pelvic & bloodwork were fine. I am wondering why he wouldnt do it now instead of waiting until april?

well your doctor might be suspecting any metastatic foci in your lungs but that spot might not be so significant to comment upon now...it may be nothing so he might have called you in April to see whether it is progressive or not
