I am fine laying on my side. Sitting and looking down causing me to cough and breathing difficulty. Going on for about 2 weeks... 60 years old. 185 lbs...6.00. Double disc neck fusion 2 years ago.
hi sir/mam,there are many conditionw that fit into your symptoms.i shall mention the most common and important ones. 1)thyroid swelling. 2)swelling of lymph nodes. 3)esophagyeal tumours. 4)nasopharyngeal or laryngeal tumours etc. in order to arrive at a specific diagnosis, indirect laryngoscopy which is routinely done by an otorhinolaryngologist(ENTspecialist) is necessary.if you have pain and fever,a tonsillar mass and infection can also be considered.at the age of 60yrs,its important to rule out any malignancies.hope you understand the importance of clinical examination by an ENT specialist.any further clarifications from my side are always welcome.thank you.take care.bye.
