General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.
An elevation of the liver enzymes indicates damage or inflammation to the cells in the liver. These enzymes are normally found inside the liver cells, but when the liver is damaged, the enzymes leak out into the blood stream, where they can be picked up in a blood test. One of the most common causes of mild to moderate elevations of these liver tests is a condition referred to as fatty liver. Other causes of fatty liver include diabetes mellitus and obesity. Viral hepatitis or cirrhosis are possible but in this case you would have much higher values. YOu ned to do ultrasound next to see the liver conditions and then treatment can be planned.
Wish you good health. Kindly regards
