Hello and thanks for asking your query to us. I am Dr Nilajkumar a consultant gynecologist and I will be helping you in your queries. The ultrasound says something about fibroids. They are known to cause heavy bleeding. They are tumors of the uterus that are caused by increased levels of estrogen hormone. The focus of increased echogenicity in the ovarian parenchyma may be a small ovarian cyst. Its size is too small to be considered significant. The tenderness to probe means that there was pain when the ultrasound probe touched the area of ovary. This may indicate an ovarian infection or oophoritis. This can also cause heavy bleeding.
Please see your doctor with this report as you will need treatment for both infection and bleeding.
Thanks for using HCM. Have a good day. Dr Nilajkumar Bagde Consultant Obstetrics and Gynecology
