hi had a semen routine test in morning result showing as below volume 8.0 ml color creamy white pH alkaline odor musty total sperm count 99.2million/ml motility progressive 30% sluggish 15% non motile 55% morphology normal 70 abnormal 30% please advise are these results ok or need some care or medicines?
Your semen analysis report suggests decreased sperm motility. Normally at least 55 % sperms should be motile.Your findings suggest 45% motility.
Your sperm count is normal.Normally sperm count should be at least 20 millions/ml. Morphology of sperms are also normal.
You need clinical evaluation and investigations like ultrasound of scrotum can be done. You should do exercise and take nutritious food. You should avoid tight underpants. Avoid cigarettes and alcohol if you take these things. If low sperm motility persists then you may need assisted fertilization techniques like IUI.
