What Do These TSH And Prolactin Levels In Blood Indicate?
Hello Doctor , I had Perviously contacted you for my irregularly in periods... I have contacted a doctor n have certain reports with me... Can you check and let me the actual problem in me? Snography reports are normal. My prolactin is 30.06 ng/ml is it very high? If yes what is d cause? My TSH is 1.19. What does it mean? Is there any disease? Am taking medicines from last 6 days Meftal -500 mg and ovral -G Both twice a day.
Let me tell you that while your TSH level is within the normal range, your prolactin level is just out of the upper limit of the normal range. Let me make it clear that it is just out of the upper limit and it is not very high and it may also be due to the use of ovral G as oral contraceptives have a stimulatory effect on prolactn secretion. There is no need to worry.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Prabhash Verma, General & Family Physician
