General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Let me tell you that while your TSH level is within the normal range, your prolactin level is just out of the upper limit of the normal range. Let me make it clear that it is just out of the upper limit and it is not very high and it may also be due to the use of ovral G as oral contraceptives have a stimulatory effect on prolactn secretion. There is no need to worry.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Prabhash Verma, General & Family Physician
