Had two chest x-rays two months apart. 1st results-Extensive interstitial process involving both lung fields possible cavity lesion on the right. 2nd results-Modest right upper lobe pneumonia.findings are worse than 1st xray, right base atelectasis also noted. I don t understand what is going on in the lower right lung. Thanks
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. After assessing the findings of both x-ray reports, it clearly indicates an ongoing of severe infection called 'pneumonia'. It is a bacterial infection which needs to he treated with appropriate antibiotics. You need to take it as a course for specified period. Kindly consult Pulmonologist or Physician in this regard for proper management. Wish you good health.
