Hi, I want to know the remedy for the below mentioned condition of my mother. She is now 52 years old. Her uterus was removed on 2002. Now her belly is little fatty and slight pain is happening at right side of stomach. On Nov 27, 2015 we have done an ultrasound scanning. The final comment of radiologist was : Grade 1 fatty liver. Gross hydrosalpinx noted on right side measuring 10.7*6.7cm. Right ovary not seen separately. Left ovary show two anechoic cystic lesions of size 2*1.2cm and 1.3*0.9cm follicular cysts. Mild hydrosalpinx noted on left side measuring 7*4cm. Doctor suggested the removal of both ovaries and tubes. Want to know the risk in not performing the surgery.

Hi...... Hydrosalpinx means fluid filled fallopian tube. USG findings like cystic ovary, along with the age of your mother point out as high risk case. There is a possibility that these cystic lesions may progress into malignancy if ignored. Its better to take care of then in early stage itself. there are no side effects of this surgery. Hope she recovers soon. bye
